When I'm done in the cave, I don't know how to get out of it to get back to Whirldwind City! How can I get out?

Okay I'm assuming that the cave is the one with all the puzzles...
Okay basically after you're done with everything all u gotta do is take the prize and use the teleporter to leave.
If you're still having troubles let me know.

When I'm at the prize(chest), if I take the teleporter back down, it will get me back to where all those teleporters are and am I supposed to try and go all the way back to the start? If I do that I get to a point where there are rocks blocking my way,,, What am I supposed to do? Is there another teleporter somewhere?

There should be...
If not remember that if u take the wrong teleporter it will just leave you before the first row...
If you can, could u give me a screen shot of where u are stuck?
It'll be much easier to help you.

It'll be much easier to help you. There should be what? I took the teleporters to go all the way back down and I get to this place:  Rocks are blocking the way. How am I supposed to get out? |

Ok after dealing with many issues in school, and thoroughly checking the problem, I have found no issues in my version.
My best guess is that you probably downloaded a very old and buggy version of the game.
If you downloaded the game from this thread, that would explain it.
If so go to the thread above this one and download that version.
