i'm so sick and tired of schools blocking all of the sites that are actually cool  it's as if they think we have nothing better to do than sit around doing this --->  |

me too. i used to go to some shopping web sites, and they blocked em for games.

the filters are automatic pending the number of hits. lucky this one isnt blocked bc im the only one that goes to it. and shopping on a school computer is grounds for expulsion, you know.

here too. if i could find a proxy, i could get on those good sites. they blocked searching "proxy" on google.

all of the cool sites are blocked at our school it would be much easier to block everything except the boring stuff and when you go to the "access denied" page it should say "blahblahblah.com" is categorized as "fun".....................that would make everything a whole lot simpler for the computer

that's not gonna happen and i don't see why sites are blocked i mean as long as there's no porn or other stuff like that why are they blocked. why is this blocked at our school? it's a forum but what's so wrong about that?

School computers, since they are bought with grants, are for the educational use only. perhaps our school doesnt block it since i've been doing all sorts of graphics and such
