Folks and folkettes, has anybody noticed that Masked Rider and Spider-Man TAS promos have been posted to FFShrine? It's notable for those of you who want the 'tracked' music from Digimon because a fair bit of that music was reused in Digimon.

Well, I do admit I had one similar to that for a while, but these seem to have a bit more music in them.

Bless you Ggctuk! When I heard On a Spring Day it brought tears to my eyes of the happy memories of my youth watching season one as it unfurled. I can't tell you how many years I've been waiting to hear this music in such purity! It is like my soul has wings!

Edit: cant believe that they had that much common music wit digimon. Sadly nothing that I didn't already have, but what's important is that it gives us hope to see some digimon tracks too.

True: there's only a statement of the Spider-Man theme in the Spider-Man suite that we didn't have. Ours also presents the music as separate tracks as opposed to a suite.

I have not forgotten about covering, just so you know. I've just been fiddling about practising on other things. I can load far more instruments now too so it makes it much easier for me to do these sorts of things. But it will still take time and my first many-instrument cover is not Digimon-related (I wanted to try something composed by Michael Giacchino first).

Here's something to look forward to. This'll be the longest piece I've done yet. I've got the first minute done of this cue and it's sounding great, although I may change the snare drum to a heavier-sounding one, or go with the field drum I used with my Season 1 covers.



I'd say 'have fun guessing' but I've already mentioned I wanted to do this one previously.

Nope.

Here's a couple more clues: There's a comedic-sounding passage in there. In the middle there's a lull. It's also one of the longest pieces I have done to date, not including editing material into suites.

Looks like "Final Battle Scene" to me.

It's an amazing cue. Personally, I love how perfectly it syncs to picture. Really looking forward to hearing the cover!
