Though, undoubtedly, Beelzebumon is my favorite of the two, and, of course, the cooler, Lucemon basically succeeded in ingesting the entirety of the Digital World, and had his sights set on our world next...so, yeah...that and, if you examine the mythologies involved, Lucifer, Lucemon's namesake, is Satan, the head of the demons/fallen angels, and Beelzebub is a demon...so...yeah. In hebrew, Beelzebub is the devil, so the mythology argument is null at best. Further, Beelzebumon isn't the most ambitious digimon. Here lies his strength- he waits for others to go through the hard stuff, then double-crossed and cheats his way to the top.

? Oh yeah? He Fought an engraged and nigh Indestructable ultimate, then battled his evolved form, absorbed three ultimates, then beat him to the ground and almost beat gallantmon ad would have if guardromon hadn't interfered.
