 Seriously, what the hell!?! There are more protesters acting like whinny little brats than there are people who actually ARE HELPING COME UP WITH A SOLUTION! Crying to the government and distracting them from fixing the problem is (newsflash) NOT GOING TO MAKE IT BETTER!! So obviously, I'm for a reform. Not necessarily what ideas are out there already, but thats okay, because we are working on it. Doing nothing isn't the answer, but neither is freaking out like its Y2K all over again. What we need to do is help our government throw ideas around so we can come up with a practical solution to all this. |

Good to see another person that actually thinks straight in the world.
I am so sick of seeing these people go wacky over a little extra help to the people who cannot afford health care saying stuff like "America is turning socialist" and stuff like "Death Pannels"
DEATH PANELS? are we THAT crazy? LOL
Even Obama couldn't contain him self from laughing after hearing that.
Im sorry but people need to take a chill pill and actually pay attention because what is being proposed is not THAT serious...
I mean c'mon, everything Obama has done and proposed worked out so far, why can't this work too?

Ok ok, maybe not everything Obama has done has worked out perfectly but they havn't messed us up like bush's plans have now have they? LOL
Also RT No need to get angry dude just correct me cuz sometimes i do say things that are dumb LOL
But I do know that the Health Care reform is something that needs to happen. there are so many people who need the care and who die of an illness because they can't afford a trip to the doctor.
I have also done some research and the stuff these people complain about are mostly all myths and crap like the rumor of death panels for the new health care program, and what not. If anyone actually believes that then they need a cat scan and quick! LOL

he has a point... we can't base this off of the guy proposing it. thats just stupid. in that area you are no different then the people who believe the myths.
reform needs to happen, but idk if we can actually make an effective plan in the timeline we've been given...

Yeah but im not basing this off of the person, although i guess i see why he would think that... LOL woops.
But yeah im not basing it off of the person, if Obama would ever proposed something stupid i would totally oppose him.
And if Bush would had don something right i would congradulate him on that. But we all know how that turned out LOL
Also i agree with you Deji, we would need a little more time for this to happen correctly. And maybe calming all these crazy people done a little would help too.

really... obama has made all this stuff work, but this is what he thinks will work. everyone i know says in some ways that the overhaul was a good idea, but if this doesn't work, what the freak are we going to do? tell obama that its not working, (WITHOUT a huge protest ).
i admit not all the stuff i hear about obama's "perfect" idea's is a good idea or right. but really, what else can we do besides do what we are doing now.

Your post doesn't make a lot of sense, not to mention you're replying to a very old conversation where most of the factors (ex. the initial timeline and plan) have been changed or resolved. |

LOL I think I get what she means.
I think she is trying to say that people should calm the heck down and not break windows, and sending threatening letters to democratic officials.
It's better to try something now than arguing about the same thing for another 3 years which is what the republicans were attempting to do In my opinion.
I'm actually happy to know that the Health Care bill is passed and that I know that I my self in the future or my future children will be covered no matter what, now isn't that what everyone wants?

Yes. I think our current major problem is explaining to the citizens that reform doesn't mean that we are taking healthcare away. That seemed to be the initial scare.

This healthcare bill is not helping. If anything, itll help to start, then kick us in the crotch. It will offer health care to all, yes, including hobos who are too damn lazy to get a job, and so many Bob Ewells will leech off of our tax payers dollars. This will also put so many doctors out of work, because they can't get money because it is free, and they will look for a new career, then we will be fu&$ed sideways because WE HAVE NO DOCTORS! The democrats are'nt planning right.
