Episode 1
Taking wing to the digital world.
I ran along the empty streets of Japan, the wind blowing gently through the dark alley echoing the sounds of empty trash cans and cats rummaging through garbage. I stopped suddenly. The wind blew past my nose. It was a foreign smell, something I had never smelled before. " Gaomon.." a voice mumbled deep in the shadows . I turned suddenly , tightening my fists. I could feel my small claws dig into my fur. "Huh?" What?" I whispered. Suddenly a figure emerged . " Gatomon!" I growled. She sneered, her lip curling into a small smile over her sharp teeth. She leaned against the alley wall folding her arms. I was surprised her enormous paws could fit with her. " What do you want?" I yelled. She gave a tiny laugh and walked up to me, her tail waving in the air. The golden ring glittered in the moonlight. I eyed it quickly then our eyes met. " You have something I want," she said. I sniffed . " I have nothing," I replied. She gave a small growl. " I know you have it, so give it to me!" She swiped one claw in my direction but I dodged it easily. I landed softly on the ground a short distance from her , the dirt rustled under my paws. They were used to getting dirty. It was my job. I was a spy and I had only one priority. To get the job done. " Sharp Claw!" Gatomon suddenly yelled. I jumped back once more. " Gatling Punch!" I yelled. She moved gracefully out of the way. It was her style. Casual. I attacked again and again but my attacks still missed. I was out of breath. At the verge of almost fainting from exhaustion. I felt my back give in a little and I held myself up by punching my fist to the ground. " So.. ready to give up?" she asked. I groaned . "Not yet..," I breathed. " Pummel Whack!!" I yelled. I unleashed all my power into one hit that probably wouldn't make it. She moved quickly but took half my fist to the face. She hissed quietly and glared angrily at me. " You'll pay for that !" She said . Heaven Knuckle!” she yelled. I crossed my arms over my face and braced myself. I barely had any energy left in me. I would have to take the hit. She was gaining speed getting closer and closer. Then suddenly I yelled, Wait!" She stopped in her tracks, her left paw a blaze in a golden glow. " What?" She asked. "H-Here," I whispered. I pulled off my red glove, my fur shining a dark blue and on my paw. I held a small red cube. She smiled as her paw extinguished itself. She held out a hand and chucked . "You finally came to you're senses," she said. Give it to me." I felt my breathing begin to slow and my vision begin to blur. I fell to the ground and I felt her pluck the cube from my paws. I suddenly felt myself grow disappointed . I was giving up. It wasn’t my way. I couldn’t give up. I placed my paws on the ground beside me and pushed myself up. Gatomon was walking away. She hadn’t noticed I had gotten up. Suddenly the sight of her walking away victorious built up a hidden rage underneath my fur. “ B-Beast Attack!” I yelled . She turned around and in what seemed like a flash , she was on the floor, the cube laying by her side. I picked it up, and held it firmly in my glove. “Serves you right,” I said. She was out completely. I left her laying there. I whistled and looked up to the sky. The stars sparkled brilliantly in the night. Suddenly a shadow flew over my head and landed with a flutter at my side. “Did you get it?” Aquilamon screeched. I nodded and jumped onto its back. “Let’s go,” I said. The portal to the digital world is open. Aquilamon looked to the sky. A strange blue and white rip glowed, like an aurora of the north. Aquilamon opened its huge wings and took off into the sky. “ You know the boss is expecting you,” he said. “ I know,” I replied enjoying the gentle breeze blowing through my fur. “ I got the lithium cube,” I said. Aquilamon nodded . We were getting closer and closer to the portal. I could see trees and water materializing inside. Then I suddenly felt the chill. The chill you get when you take wing to the digital world.
