This is about the children of the Digimon Tamers. This is their story.
“Mom! Is my soccer uniform still in the dryer.” Yelled a young girl standing about 5’ 8”. “Yes honey.” Said Rika the girl’s mom. A young girl ran down the stairs wearing a plain white t-shirt and blue faded jeans. She walked into the kitchen and said “Mom. I have the soccer championships today.” “I know Rena. You can go get your uniform, I don’t have to do it for you. And plus your game isn’t until a couple hours.” Said Rika. “Ok.” Mumbled Rena as she walked downstairs into the laundry room. She quickly got changed into a mostly red shirt with a single white strip on each sleeve and a white number four in the middle and red soccer shorts. Rena walked back into the kitchen and said “Mom. I know its not until a couple hours but, I have to be ready it’s the championships.” “I know, I know. And plus your always in a rush.” Replied Rika. “No. I’m not.” Yelled Rena as she turned to the door. “Where are you going?” asked Rena. “I’m going over to Sam’s house to practice. Plus Kyle, Rocky, Oddy, Leo, and Jacob are coming over to.” “Ok.” “And also, is it ok if I carpool with Rocky?” asked Rena. “Sure.” Rena ran out the door and over to Sam. Who lived right across the street.
“Hey Sam.” Yelled Rena while she was crossing the road. Sam waved to Rena. “So, I guess the guys haven’t showed up yet.” Said Rena when she finally crossed the road. “Nope.” Replied Sam. “Practice shoot-out.” Suggested Rena. “Sure but, your not going to get one passed me.” “So you wish.” Sam was the teams goalie. While Rena was a forward. Rena shot a ball and it got through of course. Rena had won so many trophies it wasn’t even funny. She had been in so many shoot-out competitions. “What happened to I’m not going to get one passed you.” Said Rena. “Lucky shot.” Replied Sam. “Do you honestly believe that.” Said a voice from the next house over. It had been Leo. “Hey Leo.” Said Rena and Sam at the same time. Leo was a defender. He has really good to. “Sam honestly, Rena is the best forward in the city and you know how big the city is.” “What took you so long?” asked Rena.“I mean you live right next door.” “Yeah I know but, I had to help my dad.” Answered Leo. “Well you’re here now. So, you can help me block Rena’s shots.” Said Sam. “You can have all the help you want. I’ll still get this ball into to that net.” Said Rena while she was holding the soccer ball and pointing to the net. “Yeah right.” Said Leo. Rena shot the ball again and it made it in. Shot after shot it made it in. Finally Rocky showed up and said “Sorry, I took so long.” “No problem but, its been really boring just shooting the ball and scoring every time so now you can take a couple shots.” Said Rena. Rocky took a couple shots and he made about three quarters of them. “Nice but, I think our defender and goalie are wiped out.” Said Rena. “Yeah lets go inside and get something to drink and a snack.” Said Rocky. The four of them walked inside
“Hi Mr. Wong.” Said Rena, Leo, and Rocky when they walked in the door. “Hi kids. Where is Kyle, Jacob, and Lance.” Asked Henry, Sam’s dad. “We don’t know.” Answered Sam. Rena, Leo, Rocky, and Sam got something to eat and drink. Then they relaxed a for a while.
*Two Hours Later*
It was almost time for the big game. Just a few more minutes. “We’re all going to carpool with Rocky right?” said Rena. “Yeah.” Answered Leo. Ryo, Rocky’s dad pulled up with Jacob, Oddy, and Kyle already in the car. Leo, Rocky, Rena, and Sam all went into the car and were on there way to the soccer game.
The game was starting. Rena, Rocky, Leo, Jacob, Oddy, and Sam were all on the field while Kyle was on the bench. Their team was on offence right now and Jacob had the ball. “Over here.” Yelled Rena running into a great position to score. Jacob passed it to Rena. Rena went for the goal and she made yet another goal. “This would be a hat trick for Rena Matsuki. And it puts the team at 6 points while the opposing team is at 1.” Said the announcer. Rena high-fived her teammates and then saw Kyle’s face. He was sad. It was two minutes until the game ended and he hadn’t been able to play at all. Jacob and Rocky noticed it to. Rocky had already made two goals and Jacob had made one. The game started up again. The other team had the ball. Rocky quickly made a tackle and got the ball. He passed it to Jacob. But, Jacob pretended to trip over the ball and injure himself. “Ouch that has to hurt.” Said the announcer. “ “Shioda get over here.” Said the coach. “Kyle your in.” Jacob walked over to the bench trying to make himself as injured as possible. The game stated again. Kyle had the ball he passed it to Rena. Quickly Rena passed it back. Kyle went for a goal. “Five….four….three….two….one.” yelled the crowd and Kyle had made the goal at the very last second. “That’s the end. The Knights won 7-1.” Said the announcer.
Ryo dropped everyone off. First he went to Jacob and Oddy’s house. Then he went to Leo’s house. Rena’s place then Sam’s house. Lastly he went home.
“Mom! I’m home.” Said Rena when she walked into her house. “How was the game?” asked Rika. “Awesome, We won 7-1 and I made a hat trick.” “Sounds good.” “I’m going up to my room.” “Ok.” Rena walked up to her room and started to draw her Digimon again. “I can’t wait until dad gets home.” Said the young girl still in her soccer uniform. Her dad was Takato Matsuki and he was a traveling salesman. So, Rena didn’t always see him. Rena had named her Digimon Sansumon. It was a red Digimon. It had tiny little ears, an innocent face, sharp teeth, claws, it stood on its back feet, and it was around the same height as her. But, it wasn’t only a land Digimon it also had gills which made it so it could breath under water. Sansumon could also, withstand hot or cold temperatures. She wished that one day Sansumon would come to life. But, she knew that was just some fantasy. Rena heard a knock on the door. “Rena could you get that.” Yelled Rika. “Sure mom.” Rena ran downstairs and opened the door. “Hi Mr. Wong. And Dad!” said Rena when she noticed that her dad was standing behind Henry. Rika walked up to the door and said “Hi Henry.” Takato walked inside and said “Hi everybody. I’m back.” Rena gave her dad a hug and then asked “Why is Mr. Wong here.” She noticed Sam was running across the street and slightly waved to him. “Well. I’m here because Sam just received a Digi-egg and I’m suspecting that you probably did to.” Said Henry. “I’ll go check my computer.” said Rena. Rena ran upstairs and saw her computer monitor blinking. She turned the monitor on and a Digi-egg appeared on the screen. A blue D-power popped out of the screen and floated into Rena’s hands. Rena ran downstairs faster than normal and said “Did something like this pop out of the computer screen.” Sam nodded when he got to the door. “I believe that our children are becoming tamers just like we were. Because the Digital World is in danger once again.” Said Henry. “Really!” said Rena. Sam and Rena shot each other a look and they both knew what each other were thinking. Awesome. “Of course you have to understand Rena this isn’t a toy. Digimon have feelings.” Said Henry. “I know.” Replied Rena. “Well I’ve already notified the rest of the children so right now all we have to do is wait. Me and Sam will be leaving soon.” Rena ran into her room and watched the screen.
*Three Hours Later*
Rena was half asleep when the Digi-egg started to hatch. Rena instantly woke up and stared at the screen. “Its finally happening.” Said Rena. The egg hatched and a Jyarimon came out of the computer. Rena held the Jyarimon and was going to tell her parents but it was already 3:08 so, she decided to go to bed.
*Three Hours Later*
It was 6:20 and Rena had woken up. This was very early for her. She had no idea what had woken her up but, yet she feels like something woke her up. Then she noticed on her bed was a Jyarimon jumping up and down waiting for its food. Rena walked downstairs and of course Rika was already up. “Mom. What should I feed my Digimon.” Asked Rena. “It hatched .” said Rena in a surprise. “Yeah. It’s a Jyarimon.” Said Rena. “Well give it this.” Rena took a small piece of bread from Rika’s hand and fed it to Jyarimon. He ate it fast and was satisfied. The next thing Rena knew is that her sweet and innocent Jyarimon was digivolving into Gigimon. “Wow!” said Rena. Gigimon hopped out of Rena’s arms and started to walk around in its new surroundings. Rena picked up Gigimon again and went to her rom. She put him on her bed and brought a few bags of bread just in case he got hungry again.
At Sam’s house things seemed to be running the same way. Except Sam’s Digimon hadn’t digivolved into in-training form. It was still a Zerimon. Sam quickly ran across the street to Rena’s house without being seen by anyone walking by.
Sam knocked the door and Rika answered it. Rika let Sam go upstairs and that is exactly what he did. “Hey Rena.” Said Sam as he walked into Rena’s room. “Hi Sam.” Replied Rena. Rena gave Zerimon a piece of bread and then Zerimon digivolved into Gummymon.
