I'm going to continue this from the old forums. I may finish it sometime maybe.
(Before I get started I would just like to say that this is my first fanfic so please be too harsh on me . I'm not the greatest writer in the world so most of my stuff in the beginning my not have as much detail as I would like so I may come back and revise it later. Okay with that out of the way let’s get this party started.)
Chapter 1: Beginnings
Kamon was a normal young boy who did normal everyday activities, such as school, chores, and homework. Kamon was 15 at the time; typically he wore a black t-shirt with a white vest on the outside, a pair of baggy blue jeans and black tennis shoes. He had long, white, spiked-up hair that despite his mother's intentions just wouldn't stay down. He never had many friends, he always considered himself kind of a loner. Aside from that he was a smart boy who always got high grades in all of his classes.
He lived in Colorado with his mother; his father had died years ago when Kamon was only 10. Before that time Kamon was an energetic boy who always seemed to get into trouble. His mother always worried about him. But his father would always say.
"Leave him be he's a fine young boy who will grow up to do great thing one day."
Kamon's mother watched as the young boy ran out to see Kamon climbing the gutter onto the roof, "Oh no now he's climbing onto the roof." Kamon's mother ran out side and yelled at Kamon. “Kamon you get down from there right now!”
“No I don’t want to!” Kamon resumed his climbing completely ignoring his mother. When he reached the top he was greeted by a familiar face; his father’s.
Kamon’s father sat down and beckoned his son to come over. But Kamon refused. “Now Kamon I think you need to listen to your mother and get down from here. Come on I’ll go with you.”
“No I don’t want to!” Kamon crossed his arms and turned around.
“Kamon you’ve done something wrong and you need to accept responsibility for your actions.” Kamon continued to ignore his father. He walked over to the other side of the roof and sat down. “Come now Kamon let’s get down from here.”
“No!” With that Kamon gave a shove to his father which caused him to lose his balance. Kamon’s father was teetering on the edge of the roof.
Kamon turned around in time to see his father fall from the roof. Kamon looked over the edge of the roof to see his father’s body lying motionless on the concrete surface of his back porch. His father was rushed to the hospital, when Kamon and his mother arrived they were informed that Kamon’s father had sustained a serious injury to the head and that they would not be able to save him. After hearing that Kamon’s personality did a complete three-sixty, from then he was always quiet and never wanted to talk to or be with anyone.
Back in the present day Kamon was on his way home after school when his cell phone rang. He pulled the phone from his pocket, flipped it open and answered it. “Hello?” There was no answer. Kamon pulled the phone away from his ear and was about to hang up when a bright light came from his phone and he couldn’t see anything. Kamon could only see darkness as he heard a voice coming from no where.
“Welcome to the digital world.”
