The story takes place about 5 years after Runaway Locomon. Shortly after the Locomon incident, about 3 months afterward, the Digimon franchise basically crashed. Card packs were going for dirt cheap, and cards that were once rare and impossible to find were now worthless. Most of the Tamers, except for Ai, Mako, and Suzy, are now about 16. Takato, Guilmon, Jeri, and Calumon have taken a job at the Matsuki family bakery. Henry is teaching Martial Arts as an after school program, and Terriermon helps every now and again. Suzy and Lopmon are on the cheer squad. (This story goes by the english version, where Lopmon is a girl) Rika and Renamon are working for Rika's mom's fashion company. Rika hates it. Kazu and Andromon work at the local Mechanic's shop. In his spare time (or whenever he can weasle his way out of work) Kazu hunts for rare cards. He has found that people online will pay more for old cards. He still hasn't found that GranKuwagamon. Kenta helps with the card searches, and Marine Angemon has hired himself out as an exhibet at the aqarium. Ai and Mako don't do much. Beelzemon is a bounty hunter in the Digital World, working for the Sovereign, and Hypnos. Ryo and CyberDramon are still MIA. Now, an unsual amount of activity has been detected in the Digital World, and the Tamers have been called into action once again. Make a tamer, give them a bio, wardrobe, personality, partner, and best card.
Name: Uraki Bidan
Bio: Uraki hasn't had a very happy life. His parents died when he was just 4. A driver was on his phone and ran a redlight, causing him to T-Bone thier car. The dad, in the driverseat was crushed, and the mom was slammed against the window, causing a major concussion. She died in intensive care. Uraki was placed in the care of a foster family who couldn't provide the love he needed. They were'nt ignoring him, they were just so pre-occupied with thier own children, and thier careers. Uraki discovered Digimon when he was 9, and spent his saved allowance on a starter pack and several boosters. He specialized in Dragon and Dinosaur types. He became a champion. He won 2 out of the 5 tournaments he entered when he was 11. He won 3rd in the tournament that Rika lost to Ryo. When he got home, his card reader flashed, and he had an experience like Rika's. A window to the Digital World opened, and before him were several Digimon...all of them Dragon and Dinosaurs. Then, in the back, he saw him.....DeviDramon....he lifted his hand, and pointed to him, saying, "A Dragon...my specialty, and his type...a Dark Dragon to mirror the Darkness in my heart." Then, a Blue Card appeared before him. He swiped the card, his reader turned into a Digivice, and Devidramon Bioemerged. The Darkness Uraki spoke of was the void of emptyness he felt in his heart, left by his parent's death.....
The reason he hadn't met the other Tamers yet is because he lives in Osaka, but at the start of this RP, he moves to Shinjuku.
Description: 16 years old. About 5' 11", 165 pounds, medium build. He usually wears a Black leather jacket, blue jeans, and carries a card pouch, and wears black goggles.
Digivice: Black and Gray D-Arc, colored like Ken's from adventure 02.
Partner: DeviDramon. This Devidramon isn't as mindless as the other ones that appear in the Digimon Universe. This one doesn't just attack, but uses tactics as well, although he IS mostly brute force. The tactics come from Uraki. He is also much smaller than the average Devidramon. He is about the size of the Agumon from the first movie, the one at Highton View Terrace. He and Uraki don't have a very deep friendship. A very Rika-renamon relationship at the beginning: Just partners for personal gain. Except Uraki knows that Digimon aren't just data, but living, breathing creatures.
Favorite Cards: Gatling Arm, Positron Laser, Platinum Sword.
Tamer/Digimon Relationship: They aren't all buddy-buddy like Takato and Guilmon, but they are closer than Rika and Renamon were at the beginning of Tamers. They will take care of and support each other when they need to. Recently, Uraki has been getting a bit hostile, and moody. He thinks it's just the hormones from going through puberty. It started when he was about 12 1/2.
Rules: No flaming. all OOC posts, except for character description must be made with double parentheses ((like this)). Keep swearing kind of low. Some is acceptable, but nothing worse than Sh!+. This roleplay goes by the ENGLISH version of Tamers. If you are referencing the Japanese version, and it's NOT in the English version, then explain in OOC. When changing view points, triple space. like hit enter 3 times.
