There are two major music rights organisations in the US, BMI and ASCAP. The Digimon music is spread across both ASCAP and BMI. The link I gave was for one of the BMI tracks, the IDs were from ASCAP. ASCAP's website doesn't have a page per work ID, so I can't easily link to them. Try doing a search on www.ascap.com/ . Google aren't likely to find much info about them, but Bug Music and/or Saban should know about them. I'm afraid the numbers and link won't be of much use to us directly. They're only really useful if you want to talk to the rights holders. Sorry about the confusion, -- Sulix

I've tried contacting Amotz Plessner, and also the Shuki Levy website webmaster to no avail. Sadly it seems the BMI website doesn't list contact details. Of note that Shuki Levy is listed as LEVY YEHOSUA on the ASCAP site. EDIT: www.megaupload.com/?d=A2FKRCEMThis is a small 12 minute promo I quickly zonked together. Largely of the material on Udi Harpaz's site, but two tracks are not - Flower Field and a little treat. I'm fairly certain we can use this in SOME way to prove the interest in the music still exists, I'm just not sure how... yet. EDIT 2: I've fired off two e-mails, one to Amotz Plessner, another to Udi Harpaz. This time, I've asked for information. I think, the more we know about the score, the better chance we have of getting Bug Music (who hasn't even responded to catalogue numbers on Twitter) to listen. We also need a way of spreading the word - although Facebook is a good idea, I tried there, but it doesn't seem to have done much at all. In fact, out of the 6 messages since I posted there, three are mine. There has to be another way to spread the word around, to gather support. The main thing I've requested from Udi is a cue list, and from Amotz I am curious as to his involvement.

You should remove track 07 from this release because this may cause problems to Udi, and may get you ignored by Udi as you promised not to leak those tracks. What you are now doing is breaking your promise.
Thist think What Udi might think/feel if he'd see your topic.

The thing is, it's one track, it's not like it's the whole 12 track set. It may also be one of the ways to convince Bug that the music has a market - which might be harder with the abscense of the music. After all - that is the track everybody is most after.
The promise I had made was a huge thing for me. But I feel a lot less guilty for including it than I do for not including it, for the reason above - Heroic Them, or "Omnimon Born" is the most-searched-for track from the movie. That's why Track 7 is the only one I included from the music I got sent.

Thanks, now I know how to use that site. sad thing is that site doesn't allow download.
such companies wont care about what people are after. They move only if you you call them by phone and offer millions.

Sorry to pop in unannounced... But I have been looking for the complete Omnimon Born song for a long time. I don't know what I can add to the search, though, except the fact that I would love to have this song.
One thing I can say, though, is that LastFM has a song titled Omnimon Born on it. I have not purchased it yet, but I can almost guarantee it is the second part of the song, after the "feel their hope, feel their strength!" scene, since it is 1:11 long, and the first part of the song is about 0:54 long, while the second part is almost exactly 1:11 long.

You can bet your bottom dollar that track is straight from the bootleg.
I should know as I was the one who made the original bootleg some time ago, and I was the one who came up with the title "Omnimon Born".

Wow, that's cool! Normally I'm against bootlegs and stuff like that, though in this case, since this song is virtually nonexistent, I strongly support it.
Can I please have a quick summary on what progress has been made? I skimmed through the whole conversation from the beginning, but I don't want to take the time to read each and every post.

So far we have found all publicly released tracks + some private tracks. At the moment we've got stuck behind companies who doesn't want to cooperative.

Hm... so I guess there's not much we can do but hope for a reply by this point? Because, if it would help, I own Pro Tools 8, which is a professional audio recording/editing program. I don't think we want to mess with editing stuff here, though. I just wanted to throw it out there that I do have that program.
I'm getting a nice keyboard soon. Maybe we can settle with a good cover until we get something official? I'm sure that when I get used to the keyboard, I can use that and Pro Tools 8 to cook up a pretty neat cover. It would never be able to take place of the real thing, but maybe it could suffice until we do have the real thing. Anyone like the idea? Just note that at the very quickest, and I mean if this is done extremely fast, I could have it up in a month from now.

greythunder here's raw material for you... See if you can put whole track together. autoit.net.ee/downloads/rawmaterial.zipTrack names in zip file are named as follows: EpisodeNumber_Partnumber. So 51_1.ogg means it's from episode 51, part 1.

Thanks for sharing that, but, this may not be what you want to hear, though I have a number of issues with this.
First, there is no way I would be able to remove all of the talking, sound effects, background noises ect... and just leave the song. A way that I have heard it put is that doing that would be like removing the yeast from cooked bread. It just can't be done. You can lower a lot of those things to make them quiet, but you cannot remove them. And even then, sometimes, you simply can't do much. That's the reason why the soft part of Omnimon Born was never successfully edited with a program like Pro Tools, while the second part was.
Two, I realized after awhile, that the song is not played exactly the same way two times in a row. I recently went through Digimon and that is something I noticed. And the full song is certainly never played in one place again after the movie. My only hope is to look around through Season 2 again and find if the slow half of Omnimon Born is ever played again; if it were to be in anywhere but the movie, it would be in Season 2, not season 1 (meaning that, sadly, I cannot work with the zip file). If I can get the slow half just like it was in the movie (which mind you is incredibly unlikely), I may be able to cut that together with the version that already exists of the second half and we could have a decent version of the full Omnimon Born, even though it is absolutely impossible to make it perfect.
And note that some of this is just guessing, too; I am still new to the whole Pro Tools thing. I did my research and I know what I can cut and edit and not, but my main worries are successfully getting the files on Pro Tools, and cutting/editing stuff while still retaining some decent amount of sound quality. If this is able to be done at all, it will be extremely difficult and the sound quality may be pretty bad. But to be honest, I don't know if I can do this. I would need to either have raw material taken from every episode of Season 2 that has the soft part of the song, or I would convert the videos from youtube (which has every episode of Digimon with pretty good quality) into the right kind of file to put onto Pro Tools; either way, it would be quite hard to get it on there. Again, I do not know if I am actually able to do this. It is quite possible (and most likely quite likely) that 1) the song really never is played the same way twice, 2) it is impossible to reasonable tone out all the not-music content from the scenes that contain the song.
I'll need to do some research on this. But again, I do doubt I can actually do this.
