Okay well first let me post a rough design of the Play mat:
*Okay now here is the objective:
The first player to reach 2000 Data points wins the Duel!
To gain Data Points one must defeat (Delete!) your opponents Digimon in battle.
When deleting a enemy Digimon you gain points according to the deleted Digimon Score Counter at the Bottom right corner.
*Staring out:
Shuffle the deck and place it in the Online Deck area.
Pick up cards until one gets a Rookie Digimon and place it facedown in the Battle Zone.
Replace the other picked up cards and re-shuffle.
each player draws 6 Cards and then they choose who goes first. The Tamer who goes first cannot attack.
*During Play:
A tamer (the player) can only have up to 3 Digimon on the field at a time. 1 in the Battle Zone and the other 2 are in Reserve Zone.
Then when going into battle the Digimon in the Battle Zone is the only one who is allowed to attack. The ones in reserve cannot do anything unless a Digimon in Reserve Zone has a special skill (in this case that skill is Block.)
When in Battle a Digimon's Attack power must defeat the enemy's Digimons Defense power in order to Delete it. If however a Digimon only takes some Damage, when it is your turn you may switch the hurt Digimon with one in your Reserve Zone. This can only be done once per turn.
If a Tamer runs out of cards in the Online Deck, he/she may regroup the cards from the Offline pile, shuffle and place the new deck in the Online Deck.
When a Digimon is Deleted from the battle Zone another Digimon from the Reserve Zone must take its place next turn.
If a Tamer has an empty spot in the any of the Zone he/she may place 1 Rookie level Digimon in the a empty Zone once per turn.
*Digimon Skills, attributes and types:
Digimon in this game vary alot. First lets define their Skills:
Fly: A Digimon with this skill cannot be blocked by another Digimon!
Block: A Digimon with this skill can take damage for the Digimon in the Battle Zone.
Fight, Dig and Swim: As of now not much is given to these Skills other than some Digimon or Power Options may mention or require one of them for the effect to take place.
Attributes and Types: Digimon or Power Options may mention or require one of them for the effect to take place.
*Digivolving:
Digivolving can only be done once per turn and to only 1 Digimon.
When Digivolving one must use a Digivice Option Card and the next level Digimon in his/her hand which also need to list the lower level Digimon in the Digivolve list.
To perform a Digivolve one must announce it and play the Digivice in the Digi-Port zome and place the next level Digimon on top of the previous one.
Some Digivolve Option cards may say that one can Digivolve to a higher level without needing to following requirements.
(DNA) Digivolving is when a Tamer fuses two Digimon together. To perform a DNA Digivolve on must have both Digimon either in their hand or on the field and a D-3 Digivice and the next level Digimon. When succesfully digivolving place the Material Digimon under the new DNA Digivolved one in a empty Zone.
*Digi-Port:
This area is used to play your Option Cards.
Only 4 of the can be placed here at a time.
*Option Cards:
These cards can do many things like enhance the power of a Digimon, corrupt an enemy Digimon and even protect once's self from an enemy attack or Option card.
Option Cards are devided into Five categories:
Program: These are the most basic of all Option cards. They usually have effect similar to Modify cards, but mostly focuses on the Tamer, the field or the Online Deck.
Modify: These are used to enhance your Digimon's power and such. These stay on the field as long as the Digimon they are equipped to stay in the Battle Zone.
Hack: These cards target enemy Digimons in order to corrupt them by depleting their defense and other such effects.
These cards can also effect the Tamer it's self.
Firewall: These are the cards Tamers play in order to protect them selves. Firewall cards can be placed face-down and activated on your opponents turn.
Digivolve: These are used to Digivolve Digimon to higher levels.
The levels are as follows:
Rookie, Champion, Ultimate, and Mega.
That's about as much as I have figured out for the card game.
