LOL not really, but since the previous card games and video games have allowed Digimon to digivolve to other Digimon I guess why not do it here too. It makes it easier to build a deck and makes it possible to have more of different Digimon types.

That reminds me you wouldn't happen to know a name of a digimon game on the play station 1 where your digimon follows you and can literaly digivolve into any random digimon?

Well, I haven't posted here for a while and that's because I've been playing Digimon Digi-Battle with some friends at my College and it's MUCH better than I remember it.
Ofcourse bending a rule or two made the game a little more fun to play like just sending the rookie Offline after switching for a new one. LOL
Now I am double thinking this game and how some of the mechanics work.
I might bring back that 3 different Digi Power thing and some other stuff too.
We'll see what happens...
Also anyone wanna play me on that online card site thingy? LOL
